Q: Is this a booter (DDoS-for-Hire) service?
A: No! This service TESTS if a domain might be vulnerable to certain attack types. Think of it as ssllabs.com, but for DDoS. It only performs low-volume connections, uses very little traffic and does not do anything that risks impacting a site.
Q: You attacked my site, I want to sue you!
A: No attack took place. Some characteristics of your server were checked, e.g. timeouts and server headers. This is all publically available information. No "hacking" of any kind took place.
Q: Why did you create this site?
A: Making the world a better place. People can check their site - just like with ssllabs.com and make it more secure.
Q: What are you doing against abuse?
A: There's not really much abuse to be done here - all checks are non-intrusive and could be done by anyone on the internet; besides that, rate-limiting is implemented, you can't continuously test the same site over and over again.
Q: What are the rate-limits?
A: Site checks every 24 hours only.
Q: Can you run more aggressive checks to determine rate-limits etc.?
A: While this would be possible, I did not want to risk impacting any site.
Q: Who runs this site?
A: I'm running it for fun as a private person. :) I work in the IT sector and obviously deal with DDoS attacks.
Q: Can you DDoS $site for me?
A: GTFO.
Q: What?
A: Fuck CloudFlare for not doing anything about all the booter / ddos-for-hire services they host. Kill them all! 🔥🔥🔥
